Your copy is sabotaged by... Lack of differentiation

The problem: You have a fantastic offer that does not stand out from the similar offers out there, so your competition is snagging your ideal clients. You may also come off as a salesperson rather than someone they can relate to. Your voice tends to be inconsistent, and you might sound like everybody else. Yikes.

Why it matters: Of course, when you sound like everybody else, your ideal clients will choose the other offer. The cheaper offer. Or the offer from the person they relate to the most. Maybe even the person they saw last while scrolling on Instagram.

What you can do: Create a voice guide. This will ensure your voice is consistent throughout all of your copy assets. Aside from that, you should do a competitor analysis where you compare similar offers to yours and pinpoint exactly how your offer is superior so that you can approach your copy from that angle.
